BLADEcontrol® supports you in detecting even the smallest damage to the rotor blade at an early stage - e.g. blade tip damage caused by lightning strikes, trailing edge cracks, web separation, or blade bearing damage. Main bearing damage detection with BLADEcontrol®

BLADEcontrol® now also offers the combined monitoring of the main bearing. Without any additional hardware, this extension enables the early detection of main bearing damage up to one year before critical damage results in turbine shutdown. By detecting both fatigue damage and wear, as well as the location of the damage, BLADEcontrol® helps to minimize downtime and optimize turbine performance.

LEITWIND - Caribbean flair for BLADEcontrol®

Read our success story on six LEITWIND turbines of the type LTW80 1.65MW Typhoon on Guadeloupe that have been equipped with the BLADEcontrol® rotor blade monitoring system.
